"Is something wrong Selena?" Celeste lifted her head from her textbook as Selena entered the dorm, looking gloomy and depressed.
"What do you think?" Adelia said as she waved her hairbrush in the air. "There are only two things that can possibly cause a girl to have those frown lines on her face, clothes and boys, and I'm guessing the later." She said as she continued to brush her hair. Selena walked over to the living room area where Adelia, Celeste, Cleo and Kokoah were sitting.
"Koko.." she said as she sat down on the bean bag. "I want to kill your cousin" Kokoah, Cleo and Celeste were sitting around the table working on a project for Metamorphosimbiosis class.  
"What has he done now?" Kokoah asked, sounding unbothered. She was used to Adrian pissing Selena off.
"He's not answering my calls! Again!" Selena said as she curled up on the bean bag. "And he's been acting really weird. It's like he's avoiding me" she said, a tint of sadness in her voice.
"Well it's not like he's your boyfriend or something. He has no obligation to call and check up on you" Adelia said as she brushed her hair. Selena gave her an annoyed look.
"I know that Adelia!" Selena said, her voice tuning annoyed.
"I bet it's nothing. You guys know Adrian tents to play by his own rules sometimes." Cleo said as she gave her a comforting smile without looking away from the rat that they were trying to turn into a dove. So far, Celeste had been the only one to successfully turn her gray rat into a snow white dove. Cleo's rat had a few white spots and Kokoah's rat's ears had turned into wings. Selena sighed. It wasn't like she wanted to be non exclusive with Adrian. She wanted to be in a relationship with him more than anything, but she had hurt him too much and understood why he didn't trust her. So right now she was playing by his rules.
"I still don't get why he's not answering my calls. Someone try calling him!" Selena ordered as she started at the three girls.
"Not me!" Kokoah said as she petted her rat. "He would know I was doing you a favor" she said and Selena rolled her eyes.
"Celeste?" Selena turned to the purple haired fairy. Celeste looked skeptical.
"What would I say?" she asked.
"Just say you wanted to call Damien and got the wrong number. I just want to see if he picks up" Selena said, giving Celeste a pleading look. Celeste sighed and, still insecure about it, pulled her phone out of her pocket and dialed Adrian's number.
"Put it on speaker phone" Selena said, her pinky finger in her mouth. She had a bad habit of chewing her nails when things didn't go as she wanted.
"Hello?" they heard Adrian's voice as he picked up the phone. They all went quiet and looked at Selena, who made a strangle movement with her hands in the empty air. "Helloo?" Adrian repeated.
"Uhm.. hi Adrian.." Celeste said, her voice weak. Kokoah and Cleo giggled.
"What's up Celeste?" Adrian asked from the other line. Kokoah had to bite a pillow not to burst out laughing at the look Selena was giving Celeste's phone.
"uhm.. I was calling Damien.. must have dialed the wrong number.. ehm.. sorry" Celeste said and hurried to hang up.
"THAT ASSHOLE!" Selena yelled the moment the connection was broken.
"Wow, you weren't being paranoid" Cleo laughed. Selena threw a pillow at her that Cleo dodged.
"I bet he's with some other girl and that's why he's not answering when you call" Adelia teased.
"He wouldn't!" Selena gasped, but she and the others knew very well that it was a possibility. Selena and Adrian were dating, sorta. Adrian had made it very clear that he did not want a relationship.
"If only we could spy on him without him noticing.." Kokoah said as she put her rat down from where it was flying with its ears in the air and once again tried to turn it into a dove. She managed to get rid of the winged ears but instead of transfigurating the rat she moved the wings to the tail and the tail to the nose. Selena thought it looked really funny as the rat tried to lift its own weight from the tail that had become the wings. "I give up!" Kokoah said and threw her hands into the air. "There's something wrong with the rat"
"WE SHOULD DO IT!" Selena then yelled and the girls jumped, startled by her outburst. They heard a door open and turned around to see Keola, look out from her room while Kit and Scarlette from their respective rooms.  
"What is going on out here?" Keola asked as she took some steps out of her room and walked over to the four girls.
"We're gonna spy on Adrian!" Selena told her as she jumped up from her seat.
"Hold on!" Adelia said as she stood up. "I never agreed to this!" she crossed her arms over her chest. Kokoah started giggling and Kit walked out to them.
"How are you gonna do that? Bug his room?" she asked as she put a hand on her hip.
"You could always turn yourself into a guy and run arouns after him" Kokoah added between giggles. "I read something about a spell like that in our textbook" the girls looked at her and Selena smiled.
"Yes!" she said and jumped up in the air "We should do that! That way he won't know it's us spying on him!" she said excitingly.
"Hell no! I'm not growing a penis!" Adelia yelled out as she stood up from her seat, almost throwing hairbrush in Selena's direction.
"It would be a fun experience" Scarlette said. "I've always wondered what it would be like to be a guy"
"Maybe doing that would be taking it a bit too far" Cleo continued. Selena sat back down and crossed her harms over her chest.
"You guys are so mean!" she said. Kokoah started to giggle again.
"I think it would be fun! Haven't you guys ever wanted to know what guys do when there are no girls around?" she said and smiled. Celeste, Keola and Cleo shook their heads.
"Eeehh, let me think about that… hmm… NO!" Adelia replied. Kit saw the sad look on Selena's face and turned to Kokoah.
"What exactly does this spell do?" she asked.
"It just transfigures you into what you would have looked like had you been born a different gender. It lasts for 48 hours"
"48 FREAKING HOURS AS A DUDE?" Adelia exclaimed. "I'll pass!" Kit sighed.
"We could always pretend we're transfer students and that's why we're there?" the girls turned around and looked at her.
"You're not considering this, are you?" Keola asked, sounding a little freaked. "I mean, what if we get caught? And how are we going to get away with missing two days of classes?" Celeste nodded in agreement.
"Well, there's tomorrow and then there's the weekend. So if someone tells the teachers we're sick we can get away with missing one day" Kit said rationally.
"And it would be fun!" Kokoah added. Selena beamed.
"You guys would do this for me?" she asked as she stood up again.
"Beats listening to you complain" Kokoah said with a smile.
"I never agreed to this!" Adelia said. Kit shrugged her shoulders.
"So you stay behind and be the one to tell the teachers we're sick. I bet some of the boy will try to see us too when the weekend comes. Tell them Faragonda sent us on a mission." And with that, they started looking for the spell.

"Uhhm.. Selena?" Selena heard her name spoken by a very insecure deep voice. Next second she felt how someone poked her arm.
"Hmm?" she answered, she was still tired.
"You should look at yourself" Selena opened her eyes and looked at the person in front of her. It was a guy with shoulder length blonde hair and green eyes. Selena noticed that his exotic tanned skin was covered in muscles. Her eyes opened wide as she realized who it was.
"The spell!" She exclaimed as she stood up, hitting her head in a shelf that was hanging on the wall above her. "Damn this, who lowered it?" She asked as she looked over at the rest of the girls. Or well, guys. Kokoah had a nervous look on her face, but it had been replaced by a laugh after Selena's little accident. Cleo was just waking up herself but she looked very intimidating. She had a messily short cropped hair in her regular carrot hair color and a very square shaped face with defined cheek bones and down turned eyebrows that made her look older and deadly. The muscular body made her look like she would attack someone any second. Keola hair had grown a bit and Selena saw how she was struggling to get it all in a ponytail. She looked very clumsy as she was trying to move around in her new male body. Her eyebrows had grown into a unibrow and just like Cleo she had a very square looking face. Celeste was standing up behind Kokoah, she was not as muscular as the others but she was tall, Selena would be willing to bet she could be Karim's height. Her hair was slicked back on her head and cropped short as well.
"No one lowered the shelf, stupid. You are just.. well.. taller" Kokoah said and her new deep voice giggled. Selena thought it looked creepy for a guy that big to be giggling like a girl. She ran a hand over her head and felt how her curls were gone and had been replaces by a short curly hairdue. Her hand moved down her face and she felt something that made her stomach want to come up her mouth.
"I have facial hair?" she said and heard how her deep voice got higher. Kokoah giggled even more.
"So did Kit, she's in the bathroom right now trying to trim it. She looked worse" The other girls burst into laughter. Selena walked over to a mirror that was next to the juice bar to examine herself. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She had grown at least two feet, or that's what it seemed like to her, and her body had a lot of muscle. Like she had felt her hair was shorter and curled up in a mess on her head. Her face still had a baby faced look and she was nowhere near as intimidating as Cleo but she did look more masculine.
"Oh.. My… God!" Selena said to her reflection. All of a sudden Kit came out of the bathroom. She was walking clumsily as she was still trying to get used to her much taller legs.
"You were in there a long time, did you have fun?" Adelia said as she was rolling on the floor, laughing at them all. She and Scarlette, who had not been able to get out of today's project with WizzGizz, were having fun at the sight in front of them. Kokoah started to giggle again. Selena thought it looked so wrong to see the two manliest guys of the bunch giggling hysterically.
"Not really!" Kit snapped at them "How the heck do guys stand up peeing? And shaving? Urgh! What a pain.." they saw how her face looked newly shaved but she'd still missed a spot on the chin. Kit had a lean figure, and her hair was pixie cut short. The others started to laugh. "Am I the only one thinking this is really wrong?" she asked again. Celeste who was sitting down on the couch, legs crossed and hands neatly folded in her lap raised her hand.
"Oh come on guys" Kokoah said as she jumped down on the bean bag with a huge thud. "This is going to be fun!" she beamed. They all walked around the dorm room for a while, trying to get used to their new bodies. Some did better than others and Adelia was cracking up with laughter.
"Selena you walk like you're in serious pain" Adelia laughed at Selena's walking. Cleo, who had mastered the guy walk easy walked up to Selena and tried to help her.
"I can't help it! The world just shrank!" she said, she was not used to the long legs.
"And you Celeste, try not to walk like you're the new Miss Magix!" Adelia said again and Celeste's already confused face turned more confused.
"How do I do that?" she piped. It was still odd to hear Celeste's usually calm and sweet voice sound so rough and deep. She started watching Kit, who was starting to master guy walk herself.
"Koko, you stop giggling, try laughing like a man!" Adelia ordered again as Kokoah once again burst into a giggling frenzy. Cleo sighed next to Selena.
"Ok, if we're gonna do this, we should take off now. I don't know how much time we have and I don't think it's going to get better than this" she said as they took off towards Red Fountain.

"I wonder where the guys are" Kokoah said as they walked across the Red Fountain campus.
"Damien said that some of them were going off on a mission today" Celeste's deep voice answered her question. Just as she said that they saw how Adrian, Daisuke, Kyle and Zachary were standing a few feet away with their weapons in hand. Selena's big hand grabbed Keola's arm.
"There they are" she tried to whisper but as she had not yet mastered her male voice, it came out as a yell. Luckily the four boys didn't hear it.
"Okay watch me now Zach" Kyle said as he raised one of his ringblades. "And then you do like this…" He was just about to make a move but stopped and stared at six rather intimidating looking strangers that were approaching. The girls noticed how as they got closer they noticed how Kyle looked more puzzled.
"Oh ow.. what if he can see it's us?" Celeste said, a bit of panic in her voice. Kyle elbowed Zach next to him and whispered something, Adrian and Daisuke stopped to catch on. They all looked over to where the girls were standing as they girls slowly started walking towards them.
"Who are you?" Daisuke said as he crossed his arms over chest.
"You dude's look confused. You're not from around here are you?" Zachary said as they walked up to them. Selena who was now taller than most of them, had to dig her nails into her arm behind her back to keep from laughing. She looked over at Kokoah and she looked like she was struggling to hold back her laughter as well. None of the girls spoke.
"Uhm.. No, we're not" Cleo said, trying to make her manly voice even deeper.
"What are you doing here" Adrian asked as he arched an eyebrow. Kit stepped in front of Kokoah who looked like she was about to lose her composure very soon.  
"We're visiting.." Selena said when the others didn't come up with an answer.
"Oh?" Daisuke answered and looked at her. She felt like he was seeing right though their little façade.
"We're from another fighting school." Cleo stepped forward. "Quite different from yours though and our principal thought we should visit yours to see how other battling schools are."  She continued. Selena wondered to herself how many other heroics schools there were out there.
"That sounds so cool! Specialists from another school. Nice to meet you guys! I'm Zach, this is Kyle, Adrian and Daisuke" he extended his hand towards Selena. She took it.
"I'm Se…" her eyes went wild and she looked up at Adrian.
"..bastian" Cleo finished. "He's Sebastian." Neither of them had expected to walk into the heroes so soon so she had just blurted out the first name that popped into her head to save them from Selena's mistake.

"Right, Sebastian!" Selena said as she shook Zach's hand. Adding a little more force than she had to, just to seem extra manly. She was surprised to hear her own voice so deep, it was like a rumbling thunder sweeping over them. She continued to shake the hand of the others, Trying hard not to blush when Adrian extended his. She heard strange sounds coming from Kokoah who was trying to disguise her giggles as coughs. Selena hurried to introduce the other girls.
"That's Cl.." she started
"Claus" Cleo finished as she shook hands with the guys.
"Right, and that one over there" she started as she pointed at Kokoah "He's.."
"He's Kurt" Cleo hurried to say before Selena almost blew their disguises again. Kokoah looked over at Cleo and looked like she smelled something bad, obviously not fond of the name.
"Right.. Kurt.." she said as she greeted the guys. A hoarse hissing voice coming from her mouth. She stopped to fake cough when her eyes locked with Daisuke to keep herself from giggling.
"I'm Kim" A smooth voice sounding like a purring tiger came from Kitiara as she shook hands with the guys. "This is Kenny" she pointed at Keola, who didn't look happy with her guy name either. The other guys turned towards Celeste who was the only one left to introduce herself.
"I'm.. uhm.." she went quiet and the others tried coming up with names on the spot.
"CELSIUS!" Selena yelled a little too loud, still struggling to control her voice. The guys jumped back a bit at her sudden outburst and Selena felt someone pinch her.
"Yeah, what she said" Celeste hurried to add in her deep voice that had the tone of royalty in it. This had probably been to most awkward introduction in the history of introductions Selena thought. Why didn't they think of names earlier? Adrian chuckled.
"Seems to me you guys are playing us.." Adrian said, skepticism in his voice. Selena gave the others a nervous look. "I mean, you couldn't even tell us your names straight out.. Who are you guys really?" he asked and Daisuke snickered next to him. The girls all froze. Great, they were busted.
"We can't tell you that" Keola suddenly answered. The guys looked at her.
"Oh?" Daisuke looked at her suspiciously.
"You are right, we are lying to you but there is a reason" Keola continued and the other girls stared at her, thinking she'd gone crazy. "We come from a super secret heroics school. We cannot tell you the location because it constantly moves around. Even we don't know where its current location is" she said, keeping a straight face. Zachary looked at her with amazement and Kyle looked like he was about to burst out laughing. Adrian and Daisuke however, didn't look like they were buying her story.
"That makes no sense!" Adrian said and crossed his arms over his chest. "What's this schools name?" he asked.
"Because it constantly changes location, it also goes under different aliases" Kit jumped into the conversation, catching onto Keola's story. Adrian snickered.
"Fine, then tell us your real names" he continued. Kit and Keola looked at each other.
"Because of the schools secrecy, it keeps the identity of its students hidden as well. Every time we go on missions we take up new aliases" Cleo jumped in.
"Right. I still think there's something fishy here, but l don't really care" Daisuke then finally said and started to turn around but Adrian grabbed his shoulder.
"So." Kyle looked up at the girls "What have you exactly been trained to?"
"Mercenaries." Selena hurried to say as she felt a grim smile spreading across her face, this was fun! Adrian huffed.
"Hold on, I'd like to know what's so secret about this place they can't even tell us their names. They must practice some super secret ninja moves or something for them to go to this extreme. We challenge you all to duels!" Adrian pointed at the six girls. Selena heard how Celeste let out a soft yelp but they guys could not hear it.
"But there's six of us and there's only four of you, that wouldn't be fair" Selena heard Kokoah's deep voice trying to come up with an excuse. They saw how Adrian took out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number. He put the phone to his ear and they waited for whoever he was calling to pick up.
"Karim!" Adrian said and the all the other girls looked like they were about to faint. "We have some visitors here from some other heroics school and we're challenging them on a duel. Wanna come down and join us?" They all waited as Karim spoke on the other line "Awesome! Bring Matt too, we need ever numbers" Adrian said as he hung up. "What were you saying about it not being fair?" He looked at Kokoah with a smirk. Selena started to design her own tombstone in her head. This was not what she had thought would happen when she suggested the idea.
"So.." Zachary continued as he looked at them, Selena noticed how he avoided looking at Cleo. She didn't blame him, she wouldn't want to run into her on a dark night looking like she did. "Are you guys staying long?" They didn't know how long the spell would last but they had estimated around 38 hours since they had to take away the hours they were asleep.
"No, just the weekend" Kokoah answered. Zach nodded.
"Where will you be staying?" Kyle asked. He didn't look as suspicious as Adrian and Daisuke did.
"uhmm.. guest housing" Kit hurried to answer. Selena arched an eyebrow. Red Fountain had guest housing? Zach gave Kyle a confused look.
"We have guest housing?" Kyle didn't get a chance to answer because Karim and Tiamat showed up then.
"So, what's this I hear about dueling?" Karim said with a smile as he came up to the group, followed by Tiamat. "Who are the newbies?" he continued, looking at the girls. Selena didn't think Karim looked as intimidating from her new height, but she still wouldn't want to duel him. She silently prayed Cleo would be the one to do that. They all ran the story one more time for Karim and Tiamat to catch up, Adrian and Daisuke looking as skeptical this time as last. They all took off towards the arena in the centre of campus.
"Ok so here are the rules" Adrian began as they took their positions in the middle. "Your best against our best and we get to pick the rest from there. Each one of us will pair up with one of you and we will duel each other one pair at the time. The school with the most victories is the winner. Let's see whose school has the best training." he said as he grabbed hold of his daggers. The girls twitched slightly as they realized the guys had weapons and they did not.
"Time out!" Kokoah yelled the same time Selena thought about just running away. "We need to discuss tactics, give us a minute" she said and the girls gathered in a circle trying to speak as low as they could.
"Selena! I'm going to kill you!" Kokoah managed to yell while still whispering.
"If I get my as whopped, I'm helping Kokoah kill you!" Kit added.
"How is this my fault?" Selena said, panic in her voice. She hadn't predicted they would end up dueling the guys.
"How is it not?" Cleo said. "One, this was your lame idea because you wanted to spy on your non boyfriend. Two, it was YOUR non boyfriend that insisted on kicking our asses"
"Technically it's Koko's fault too.. he's her cousin.." Selena added, still a little panicked. "And! It was Koko that said we should become guys, I just wanted to spy on them.."
"Hey!" Kokoah smacked Selena's head. "I was joking! I'm from a trickster realm, you should never take me serious!" Kokoah continued and Kit nodded.
"Exactly, she has a free pass here!" she said and Selena pouted.
"No fair!" the others almost laughed.
"You dudes ready or what?" they heard Adrian's voice call for them and they all soon realized that they didn't have any weapons.
"Almost!" Selena yelled back and turned to the others.
"We'll just have to use magic, that's the only way we're gonna get hold of something" Celeste said.
"To win?" Selena asked and imagined herself kicking the guys asses.
"No, to make some weapons appear" Celeste answered calmly. She waved her hands and all of a sudden each girl had a weapon handle in her hand, ready to be used.
"Who's our strongest fighter?" Kokoah asked and they all looked at each other, analyzing who looked like they could be the most intimidating and strongest person.
"You guys ready?" they turned around as they saw Karim getting ready with Adrian and Daisuke smirking in the background. Selena swallowed. Celeste was tall, but she was not nearly and muscular and big as Karim.
"Cleo, you're the buff one, you take on Karim!" Keola said, sounding scared.
"What? Why? Koko's big too!"
"Koko doesn't want to fight Tuffy Buff!" Kokoah complained. Cleo sighed.
"Fine.."
"We ready!" the girls all said in union, Selena still believing she was not going to get out of this alive. When the girls looked over at the guys they saw that a seventh guy had joined the group. They all looked over at Celeste and could see her blushing slightly as Damien made his way over to them to introduce himself.
"Hey there!" said as he shook hands with all of them "I'm going to be the impartial judge" he said with a smile as he corrected his glasses. "Okey, let's get started. First round is Claus versus Karim" Damien continued. Cleo, looking more fierce and intimidating that she has done earlier, activated her weapon and an orange long sword appeared. Karim did the same.
"Ready?" Damien asked and they both nodded. "Fight!" and as soon as he yelled fight Karim sprung forward and his sword made impact with Cleo's. She looked shocked at first and had clearly not been prepared to be attacked with such a force. The only thing that had saved her from begin crushed by Karim had been her bulky and muscular body. Selena suddenly felt how someone was grabbing her arm and turned to see Keola behind her. She looked as frightened as Selena felt. All of a sudden Cleo managed to roll over from where she was not pinned to the ground and the surprise of that made Karim stumble and fall over face first. Cleo took this opportunity to sit on him and hold her sword to his neck.
"I win!" she yelled and the other girls gaped for a moment before they burst out cheering. Sure it had been a lucky thing that Cleo had rolled out of the way instead of facing the attack but they were in the lead.
"Good job Claus" Damien said and smiled. The other guys stood behind him looking shocked, clearly noticing the amateur mistakes in Cleo's fighting. "Next pair is Celsius and Adrian" Damien continued.
"What? Why?" Selena shrieked and felt an elbow to her chest from Kit who was standing next to her.
"Don't mind he.. him" she corrected herself. Adrian took out his daggers as Celeste activated her weapon to find a purple axe. She frowned a bit and Selena hoped that she wouldn't end up with an axe too. She would have no idea how to use it. Adrian and Celeste walked up to each other. Celeste was a few inches taller but more slender than Adrian was and Selena could not help but to wonder why Damien had chosen to pair them up.
"You two ready?" he asked and they both nodded, Celeste shaking a bit but Selena doubted the guys noticed. "Fight!" Damien yelled and with the same speed that Karim had attacked Cleo, Adrian had lunged towards Celeste. In panic, Celeste stood frozen with her axe close to her, shielding herself. It didn't help much though as Adrian had her on her back within seconds. Selena soon noticed that she was biting her fingernails. Celeste let go of her weapon and used all her strength to knock Adrian off of her and as he had not expected that he was taken off guard for a slight second, that second was enough for Celeste to get back up on her feet.
"Good one Celcius!" Damien said and Celeste look over at him and blushed.
"She better stop doing that or they're gonna think she has a thing for Damian!" Kit whispered so the girls could hear.
"Well, she kinda does" Kokoah giggled next to Selena.
"Not as Celsuis! And you stop giggling!" The distraction on Celeste was all Adrian needed to once again knock her down. This time he managed to pin her down. With nowhere to move, Celeste realized she has lost the duel.
"Second round goes to Red Fountain. Good fight though Celcius. Next up are Kenny and Kyle"  
"Who was Kenny now again?" Kokoah whispered to the girls.
"I think it's Kit" Selena said as she pushed Kit forward.
"No, it's Keola! I was Kim!" Kit hurried to say and Kokoah pushed a nervous Keola. At first the two guys seemed to have an equal fight, but as the fight went on it became obvious that Kyle was gaining the advantage. Keola was having more and more difficulties parrying Kyle's blows. At last she took a hit that forced her to the ground and twisted the saber from her hands. Kyle had won.

"Good work Kenny! Next up Sebastian versus Daisuke" Damien said as Keola and Kyle made their way back to the group. Selena swallowed hard. Why did it have to be Daisuke? She didn't want to fight him. Was the universe playing some sick joke on her? Well, at least she had an excuse to kick his ass for once without Kokoah getting mad at her. Full of determination Daisuke swung his mace towards Selena who had not expected such a fierce attack. Daisuke continued striking and Selena continued to duck and avoid the attacks. Daisuke got in a blow on Selena's arm and she felt how her muscles gave up.  She flinched, but could not hold her sword anymore and dropped it. Triumphing Daisuke swung the mace over his head, he had won. Selena swore, the guys were in the lead.

"Better luck next time Sebastian, next up Kurt versus Tiamat" Tiamat pulled his weapon up and started attacking at Kokoah. With astonishing timing the whip that Kokoah had cut through the air sending back Tiamat's attack against himself. Still shocked by what had just happened Tiamat franticly defended himself. Seizing the moment Kokoah used her whip to disarm him. The second duel was over. Kokoah had won.

"And for the final and concluding duel…" Damien bowed to his audience. "Kim versus Zachary!" approaching Kit, Zach grinned. Their attacks met in midair with tremendous force that caused them both to tremble, but Zach had the advantage of being taller and heavier. Putting his entire weight on her he forced Kit to her knees. She scrambled back up as Zach's feet slipped but just as she shifted her footing, Zach knocked her down and she flew backwards, so far that she landed on Kokoah who was standing a little too close. When Kit got up from the ground they saw that Kokoah was knocked unconscious. It didn't take long for her to wake up though.
"hmm… Daisuke…" Kokoah mumbled and the girls froze. Selena carefully looked over at the guys. Tiamat, Damien and Karim looked like they were about to burst out laughing. Adrian's jaw had dropped and Daisuke's eyebrows looked like they were about to leave the top of his head.
"Man! You have a fan!" Zach said as he slapped Daisuke on the shoulder.
"uhm.. Kurt.." Cleo bent down and shook Kokoah. "Time to wake up.. bro" Selena could not help but to smile. The whole situation was bizarre.
"Dude, wake up" Adrian said as he poked Kokoah's leg with his foot. "And he's taken" he said as Kokoah opened her eyes. She looked confused for a while, staring mostly at the male faces of her girlfriends. When she remembered what was going on she took a deep breath and hurried to stand up.
"Wopsie.. sorry, I um.. forgot to eat breakfast this morning.. so I wasn't on my game" she said and smiled. Adrian snorted and walked away. Kokoah looked over at Selena. "What did I do?" Selena shook her head, trying not to laugh at the situation.
"You guys were ok, what year did you say you were in?" Damien asked as they left the arena.
"Freshmens!" Keola answered quickly, thinking that would give them an excuse for sucking the way they did.
"Yeah" Cleo agreed "We're on our first mission" they caught up with Adrian who was standing outside the arena talking to Daxter and Cicero. The trio looked over at the group approaching them and Adrian glared at Kokoah and the poor fairy of trickery had no idea why.
"We were just talking about heading to the mess hall for lunch, anyone care to join?" Cicero asked as the group reached them. After another awkward process of greeting the newcomers, the specialist and the fairies made their way to the mess hall. Selena soon realized that this was an unfamiliar part of Red Fountain. On their way there Kit's phone started buzzing in her pocket and they girls knew it was Adelia calling to check up on them.
"Uhm.. guys.. It's you know who calling.." Kit said in her deep voice. The specialist all looked confused.
"Yeah.. right.. Celcius, you take that and fill us all in later" Cleo said as she took the phone from Kit's hand and gave it to Celeste.
"Is it another one of those 'we could tell you but we'd have to kill you' sort of deals?" Kyle joked as Celeste took the phone. The girls didn't reply. How they'd managed to keep this charade up for this long was beyond them. Celeste nodded and made her way outside again.
"Hello?"
"Ok who is this? I can't tell you guys apart when you're all mucho macho" Adelia's voice came from the other line.
"Celeste" Celeste whispered as she looked around to make sure no one was around them.
"Ha! So what's it like growing a pair?" Adelia asked with a mocking voice. Celeste sighed.
"So far we've been lucky. But I think they are starting to realize something is up" Celeste said as she explained what had happened so far. Everything from the moment they were introduced to the boys as boys to the duels.
"Aw man! The midget and the giant battling it out? I wish I was there" Adelia said when Celeste was done. She sounded very amused.
"So what happened in classes? Did WizzGizz say anything about us being missing?" Celeste asked.
"Nope" Adelia begun, popping the p in the end. "I just told them you guys had a nasty case of mono and he didn't question it." Celeste gaped.
"Why did you tell him that? You could have just told him we had a cold or something!" Adelia snickered.
"It was a plausible. I mean come on? With Cleo and Tiamat being so love sick, Daisuke being all gaga for Kokoah and Adrian jumping Selena's bones every chance he gets, that's not so hard to believe. Don't even get me started on you and your lover boy" Celeste felt how she blushed.
"Ok. We'll try to make it back by tonight" she continued, trying to get away from the subject.
"You guys owe me big time for this! You can repay me by digging up the nasty secrets our boys keep when we're not around" Adelia said as she hung up the phone. Celeste sighed and turned around to walk after the others. She stopped as she saw Damien approaching her.
"Hey!" he said and waved. Celeste blushed.
"ehhm.. hi.. did you just hear that?" she asked, scared Damien might have over heard her conversation with Adelia and buster their cover. He shook his head.
"Nah, and besides, I don't think I would have wanted to hear it. You guys seem so secretive. Wouldn't wanna risk my life finding out your secrets would I now?" He laughed. Celeste's hand went up to her ear as she tried getting hold of a lock of her hair only to notice it wasn't there. She laughed nervously.
"So what are you doing here?" she asked, her voice breaking a bit.
"I figured you wouldn't know how to find us so I came back to show you the way. Celeste blushed wringing her hands together.  Damien started ta her as he looked like a thought has just hit him.
"What?" Celeste asked as Damien's eyebrows arched. He shook his head.
"I'm sorry. For a moment you just reminded me of someone I know." He replied and Celeste's heart skipped a beat.
"Oh really?" she said trying to sound interested. "Who?" Damien shook his head.
"Oh just my girlfriend. She has the same thing.. with her hands I mean. I could swear you two have the same eye color as well. Ha.. you sure you're not related to her?" he laughed. It was obviously intended as a joke but it made Celeste nervous. She didn't know what to say to that. Damien stopped laughing and looked at her with serious eyes.
"You ok?" he asked. Celeste nodded, her heart racing. She blushed ash she felt Damien's eyes study her. It was so strange to have him look up at her like this. She wasn't used to being a foot taller than him. Then, just like that, Damien looked like he'd seen a ghost.
"Is that you Celeste?" he gasped as he tried to keep a hushed voice. Celeste bit her lip. They were busted.
"What? No… what are you talking about?" she said, trying to save them.
"What the? Celeste, what are you…" he stopped as his jaw dropped. "That must mean the other guys…" Damien looked shocked. The guilty look on Celeste's face was enough to confirm is suspicions. "What were you girls thinking? Why are you here? Like that!" He said as he pointed to Celeste's muscular male body. What could she do now? She felt horrible for trucking Damien in the first place. And she couldn't lie to him. But she couldn't' tell him here where anyone could walk up on them.
"Don't tell the others.." Celeste said in the end. Damien sighed.
"Tell me the truth. What is going on?" his hand went for hers but he soon realized what he was doing and with great restrains pulled it back to himself.
"Is there anywhere we can be alone, I can't risk blowing out cover. You can't tell the others.." Damien led Celeste to the dragon stables. He knew that by this time of day everyone ere either in class or eating lunch and it would be empty. Celeste told him how Selena had wanted to know what Adrian was hiding from her and how Kokoah had made a joke that had ended up out of their control and here they were. It was all intended as an innocent way to spy on the guys.
"Man.. so this is all Adrian fault.." Damien sighed.
"You know why he's been acting strange?" Celeste asked. Damien nodded.
"Yeah I do.. but if Adrian's not ready to tell people yet, I can't break his trust. I'm sorry" Celeste smiled.
"That's what I love about you" she said as she blushed. To anyone watching them right now, the sight of Damien looking adoringly at a big guy that was blushing, would sure be strange.
"I can't believe I'm about to do this" Damien said as he cupped Celeste's face and for the first time had to bring her head down to his level. He gave her a quick but passionate kiss. Celeste blushed again as he let go of her and once again tried to play with a lock of her missing hair.
"We should get back before they send a rescue team or something" Damien said as he let go of her hand.
"Don't tell the others please" Celeste said as they made their way back to the mess hall.
"I won't" Damien said amused. When they got to the mess hall they found the group of specialist and disguised fairies talking.
"I think I can guess who's who" Damien said as he watched Cleo glancing at Tiamat as she was in conversation with Kyle, Kit was talking to Adrian and Zachary and from behind, Selena was throwing glances at Adrian while talking to Karim, Daisuke and Keola. Kokoah was sitting next to them, competing with Royce over who could put the most meatballs in their mouths and still make sense talking. Kokoah was winning.
"Where have you two been? Sneaking out on some romantic getaway?" Zachary asked as the couple made their way over to the table. Celeste avoided looking at him as the topic hit close to home and sat down in the empty seat next to Kokoah.
"Who's up next?" Kokoah said in a challenging voice, obviously happy that she won over Royce. No one responded. Royce asked for a rematch and they stole a couple of meatballs from the rest of the group. Kokoah once again proved that she was the champion.

When Selena woke up the next morning she went into the bathroom in the dorm that had been set aside for the girls to use. She gave out a shriek when she spotted herself in the mirror, she had almost forgotten about the spell that had been laid upon her and was shocked by the giant that met her.
"What is it?" Kit stuck her head through the doorway. Then she saw Selena's reflection and hurried to put her hand in front of her mouth in order not to laugh out loud.
"I have a beard." Selena stared at herself and carefully rubbed her cheek. "What should I do?"
"Keep it!" Kit said as left the bathroom and Selena could hear her laughing and gasping for air. A ringtone was heard from Kokoah's phone in the other room.
"Help!" Kokoah's panicked voice sounded through the dorm and the others ran to her room. "Daisuke is calling me! What should I do? I don't sound like myself!"
"Let it go to voicemail and text him. Tell him you can't pick up and that we're busy on that mission."  Kokoah nodded and did what Cleo said. A few seconds later Kokoah got a reply. She giggled and put her phone in the pocket.
"What?" Kit asked.
"Oh nothing, he just said he was thinking about me" Kokoah said dreamingly. "Phew… that was close. What should we do if he calls again?"
"Just turn it off" Keola shrugged her shoulders. "And when we get back we can tell him it broke." Kokoah did what she was told and the girls made their way to the mess hall for breakfast. When they got there they could see Adrian, Daisuke, Tiamat and Karim at the table.
"So, we've been talking" Daisuke said as they sat down at their table. "If your school is so secret and constantly moves around, how do you get there when the mission is over?"  He asked.
"We'll have to continue on our own until we find another crew that can assist us or they come and get us." Kit answered; they had talked about this last night to make sure they could answer all possible questions. She leaned back in her chair. "But then we will have to go through tests in order to make sure that we really are those we claim to be. Until then we are presumed to be dead." Selena had to bite her lip to hold in a laugh. Coming up with this story had been fun.
"But don't you guys have any family that is worried that you will not return if you're presumed dead?" Karim asked.
"No." Cleo joined in. "Neither of us have any family as that is one of the requirements when applying for the school. Then your crew becomes your new family. We don't even go by our real names in order to keep everything as secure as possible, only those of your crew may know your real name."
"Man, that must be tough" Adrian said. For the first time he looked like he could be close to buying the story.
"Yeah, I don't know how I would deal without without my family or my girl" Daisuke added and the guys nodded. Kokoah had to stop herself from grinning. Selena turned to Adrian.
"So, do you have a girlfriend?" Adrian looked at her and the look on his face was pissed, like the question had insulted him. Then he stood up.
"I'll catch up with you guys later" he said and made his way out of the mess hall. Selena felt pain as Keola's elbow hit her in the ribs. She soon realized what her friend meant and stood up.
"I'm just gonna go to the bathroom!" she said as she made her way out of the mess hall, running after Adrian. She found him on the campus grounds, leaning on the railing that separated the lawn from the skies. She wasn't as tall as him but with her new height, she could peek over his shoulder. He was holding is phone, staring at the screen.
"8 ignored calls huh?" She said, her voice turning bitter. Adrian jumped and turned his head to look at her.
"Are you lost?" he asked, sounding annoyed. Selena wanted to slap him. She was annoyed that he was ignoring her but she couldn't loose her cool now. She was finally alone with Adrian.
"You looked like you could use someone to talk to.." she said as she mimicked his stands and leaned against the railing as well. Adrian looked at her but didn't say anything. Then he sighed and looked at the sky.
"You wouldn't get it" he said. Selena wanted to know what was going on with him, but in this moment she felt bad for trying to trick it out of him.
"Is it about a girl? Is that who you're ignoring the calls from?" she asked, trying to sound unbothered. Adrian shrugged but didn't look at her.
"Yes and no.. I don't know.." he didn't know? Why else was he ignoring her. Against her better judgment Selena continued to push the subject.
"Gee, how can you not know? I mean, it either is or it isn't, right?" she teased as she tried not to sound too excited. Adrian turned his head and stared at her. He looked annoyed.
"Why are you so interested in what's going on in my life. What's your name again?" Selena felt like slapping him and knew she would regret not taking advantage of her new height but kept calm.
"Look, I happen to know a little thing about girls. I just thought I'd help you out if you have problems with someone" Selena wanted to slap herself for sounding so lame. Adrian looked like he wanted to do the same.
"Look, I don't need your help. Just leave me alone!" he exclaimed. Selena clenched her fist and turned around. Sometimes she didn't even understand why she was trying with Adrian when he was such an ass. She wanted to to yell at him, demand he tell her why he was ignoring her. Tell him that if he was going to do this to her, then why not just break things of right then and there. Not that they were together, but still. Adrian knew she wanted to be with him. He was the one that was being an ass about the whole situation.
"Wait.." she head Adrian say and came to a halt. She had started walking away and turned around at his words.
"What?" Selena snapped. Her deep voice coming out as a bark.
"I'm sorry" Adrian said and sighed. "Look, I'm just dealing with a lot right now" Adrian said and looked doubtful.
"So it is a girl.." Selena continued.
"It's complicated" Adrian admitted. Selena felt like she needed more information. She already knew things were complicated.
"I have someone I care about too; she's part of one of the other groups." Selena started. Her theory was if she started to talk, maybe Adrian would open up. "We shouldn't really be dating since it's not certain that one's partner will survive its mission." Adrian had turned his head towards her and looked like something she'd said had caught his attention.
"I know what you mean." Adrian gave her a faint smile. "I can't help but worry for my girl either…" Selena felt how her heart leapt. But she didn't understand why Adrian was worrying. She was ok.
"Why's that?" she asked.
"I broke her heart." He admitted and Selena remembered the prank he had pulled on her that had destroyed her. "Then she broke mine" he continued and Selena remembered how she'd done that by getting even by going out with Rypod.
"Where are you two standing now then?" She asked and heard how the tears were building up in her deep voice. She had to pull herself together.
"We hang out. Do things you know?.. But I don't think I can tell her I love her again" Selena felt how her heart wanted to escape her chest. This was the first time Adrian had said those words since that day she broke his heart.
"Why not?" she asked. He sighed.
"Where to begin..?" he said as he looked over at the horizon. Selena stood quiet and waited for him to continue.
"I've never given my heart to anyone, I guess I'm scared that if I do, she'll break it" Selena had to turn around so that Adrian would not see how hard she had to fight to hold the tears back. Adrian didn't notice, he just continued to talk.
"But I might just end up breaking hears instead. Again" he said. Confused, Selena looked over at him again. He was still staring at the horizon.
"Why's that?" she asked, scared Adrian was going to tell her he was breaking up with her or something.
"I'm a prince. I have certain duties to my realm. And I have to marry this girl from another kingdom to unite our realms. And I can't tell Selena because I'm just so afraid of losing her." Selena felt like the air had been knocked out of her lungs. Adrian was getting married? Was this why he'd been ignoring her?
"Sebastian!" Selena turned around as she heard Celeste's male voice behind her.
"We've been called back, the mission is over!" Kokoah came running behind Celeste. They were followed by the rest of the guys as well as Karim, Daisuke and Tiamat.  
"You mean our time is up?" Selena asked, hinting at the fact that their 30 hours were almost over.
"Yes, like dangerously up!" Kit added. Selena noticed how the hair on her head was getting longer and figured they were transforming back. They had to get out of here.
"It was nice to meet you" Celeste said to the boy as Cleo, Keola and Kit started heading towards the exit.
"Wait!" Adrian said as he grabbed Selena's arm. "I need to know something, If someone told you that you couldn't be with your girl, what would you do?" he asked, oblivious to the hurry Selena was in. But her mind went straight back to her and Adrian when he asked that. He did care! He really did. In that moment she couldn't hold her feeling back. She grabbed the tie he had around his neck and pulled her to him, pulled his lips to hers. She head how Daisuke gasped in the background and Zachary cheered. She felt how Adrian froze. The next second she felt how she shrank. With her hand gripping his tie she pulled him down with her. She soon felt how her clothes turned back to something that fit her and her feet were back in her comfortable high heeled boots. A soft breeze blew her long curls out of her face. She let go of Adrian and opened her eyes, only to see him staring at her, pale in the face. Looking like he had seen a ghost. They didn't even notice Kokoah dancing in the background, celebrating that she had beat Tiamat in a duel.
